Dr. Vitalice  Onyango Ogola is a distinguished dentist, entrepreneur, and leader with over a decade of experience in clinical practice and healthcare management. As the Founder and CEO of Royal Dental Clinic Limited, he has grown the institution into a multi-branch healthcare provider, combining business acumen with a strong commitment to quality care. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the KMA RNWDT Sacco Board.
A Legacy of Service and Leadership
His leadership extends beyond healthcare into community service and professional advocacy. He previously served as Vice Chairman of KMPDU (2011–2016) and is currently the Organizing Secretary of Maranda Alumni Association. His dedication to mentorship and education is evident in his board roles at Maranda High School (Finance Committee), Siage Primary School, and Kisumu All-Stars Football Club. He also chaired Bondo United Football Club (2016–2017).
In investment management, he has been instrumental as the founding chair of Pitchfork Solutions Limited and Darama Limited Company, peer investment firms that promote financial empowerment.

His tenure at KMA RNWDT Sacco Ltd has been marked by practical reforms and strong governance. Having served on both the Education and Credit Committees, he later rose to chair the board, where he played a key role in:
Introducing term limits: for board members to enhance transparency and accountability.
Streamlining loan processing:  reducing turnaround time to just three days for greater efficiency.
His leadership is not about holding office—it’s about ensuring that KMA RNWDT Sacco Ltd remains responsive, inclusive, and forward-thinking.

Dr. Joseph Mulongo Owuor is excited to announce his candidacy for the position of the SACCO Board Member.  He brings a fresh perspective, unwavering dedication, and a genuine passion for contributing to the growth and success of our SACCO.
Enthusiasm for the SACCO Movement: As an active member of the SACCO for years, he has witnessed the transformative impact it has on his life and the lives of the members. His journey has instilled in him a deep appreciation for the values of cooperation, community, and financial empowerment.
A New Voice for Positive Change: He believes that every voice matters, and his candidacy represents an opportunity to bring a new, vibrant voice to the board. He is committed to listening to members concerns, understanding the needs, and working tirelessly to ensure that the SACCO remains a cornerstone of financial well-being for all members.
Key Focus Areas:
Member-Centric Approach: Prioritizing the needs and aspirations of the diverse membership.
Financial Inclusion and returns: Advocating for inclusive financial practices to benefit all members and an increase in dividends as guided by the law/membership.
Transparency and Communication: Fostering an open and transparent line of communication between the board and the valued members.
Enhancing the speed of loan approval: This is especially crucial for the emergency loan, to reduce the approval time to within 24 hours.
Recovery of KUSSCO funds: Guided by the law, to enhance quick investigation, recovery of funds and litigation on those culpable.
New products: To explore and avail new products e.g. mobile loans and construction loans.
Why he is Running: He is running for the SACCO Board because he believes in the power of collective action and the potential for positive change when passionate individuals come together.

Paid for his post graduate training as a general surgeon.

Dr. Ephransia Malindi Chao is a Specialist Radiologist at a Level 5 public facility in Nairobi, Kenya, where she also serves as the Medical Coordinator for Medical Officer Interns, and a dedicated advocate for empowerment and well-being for doctors through holistic approach. She is an active member of KMA RNWDT Sacco Ltd, envisioning a member-centric approach to financial systems, prioritizing timely and high-quality service delivery for SACCO members, and fostering engagement through open forums and digital feedback platforms. She is a firm believer in data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics and financial insights to guide investment, driving financial growth through safer diversified investment options and lending strategies while promoting transparency and accountability in financial reporting. 

Her contributions to Kenya’s healthcare sector include playing a key role in developing the Chest X-ray Training Curriculum and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual for Healthcare Workers (2019) under the National Tuberculosis, Leprosy, and Lung Disease Program (NTLD-P).

Beyond Kenya, Dr. Chao has served on the Global Advisory Board for the Wells Mountain Initiative (USA), reinforcing her commitment to global health advocacy. She also holds key leadership roles in KMPDU, serving as the Branch Secretary for Nairobi and as a member of the KMPDU National Advisory Committee, where she actively champions policy reforms to improve the welfare of healthcare workers.

Dr. Jack Mwenda Kileba is a medical doctor with a master’s degree in internal medicine and a postgraduate in advanced management. He brings over 12 years of experience spanning across clinical practice and management in healthcare sector.

In today’s challenging landscape, it is essential that we become an innovative, digital-ready organization—one that is efficient, competitive, and focused on delivering an excellent customer experience. Furthermore, we must tighten our governance oversight to ensure the security of our members’ savings while providing steady returns.

As professionals dedicated to service, whether as doctors, dentists, or pharmacists, we have a profound responsibility to embody this spirit of service within our great Sacco. Together, we can foster a culture of excellence that prioritizes members’ needs and aspirations.”

Dr Moses Otieno Owino seeks to join the KMA NWDT Sacco Ltd Board to contribute to the journey towards giving members adequate returns and protecting member investments. He has previously served in the KMA Supervisory Committee providing oversight to Board and Management operations 2015 – 2022. During this time, he led the efforts aimed at strengthening governance culminating in the recruitment of an in-house Internal Auditor.

He has vast experience in finance and corporate strategy, governance and business operations. He brings to the table vast corporate experience having served on the Boards of two real estate companies, a health consulting company and a health-tech startup.

He is doing his MBA at Strathmore Business School and holds an M.B.Ch.B from UoN. He has also obtained Certificates and Diplomas in leadership, strategy, general and project management.

He is an astute health systems practitioner with a cumulative work experience of 16 years, spanning clinical care, health systems management and program management in both rural and urban areas in Kenya. He currently works for Nairobi County and supports healthcare facilities, health projects and programs.

Dr. Owino enjoys reading history and travelling.

Dr. Moses Okech Osom joined KMA RNWDT SACCO 15 years ago as member number 01076. He is a practicing Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Nairobi who has witnessed firsthand the SACCO’s positive impact by patronizing its products.

He is eager to contribute his skills and experience in the SACCO’s continued growth and success. He currently serves as the chairperson of Morapec investments group where he oversees the investment strategies to ensure it achieves consistent positive returns.

Also, he is the secretary of his alumni investment group which has equipped him with organizational, communication and record keeping skills .

He is inclined to enhance the communication within the SACCO through member engagement and feedback. He believes that loan uptake starts with every communication being followed through. This he sees as the first step towards double digit dividends. He also intends to rally the board to have more SACCO members involved in disseminating information related to the SACCO and not just from invitees and directors.

He opines that despite the current ongoing challenges, The SACCO is stronger and more resilient going forward since the best time to plant an apple tree was 20 years ago; and the next best time to plant it,is now.

Dr. Micah Silaba Ominde is a consultant radiologist and epidemiologist with 8 years of experience, blending medical expertise with a keen interest in research and financial management. As a long-standing member of KMA RNWDT SACCO for over 14 years, Dr. Silaba has developed a strong understanding of financial planning, savings strategies, and cooperative principles. Alongside teaching as a university lecturer, Dr. Silaba advocates for financial literacy, helping colleagues and students navigate personal and professional financial decisions. With a unique combination of healthcare knowledge and financial acumen, Dr. Silaba is a trusted advisor in medical, research and financial circles, promoting data-backed stability and growth.
